Tranquillity ERP

nfoWave’s Tranquillity application is a comprehensive, integrated suite of modules designed to provide a complete ERP solution for a large sugar estate and is fully compliant with Generally Accepted Accounting Practice (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

This solution takes advantage of sharing all information between modules to enable direct real-time general ledger accounting updates to occur immediately a transaction is processed. This eliminates many hours spent reconciling control accounts and closing off monthly and yearly accounting periods. All data entered into Tranquillity is held in one place only. This improves the accuracy and integrity of the business data stored in the database for decision-making.

The Tranquillity system is broken down into four key functional areas:

Financial Management

InfoWave’s Financial Tranquillity application is a completely integrated suite of modules comprising General Ledger, Sales Order Management, Purchase Ordering, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Warehousing & Distribution, Cash Management and Fixed Assets.  Tranquillity Financials are the heart of the ERP system and serve as a hub for all other Tranquillity and third-party modules.

 

Human Capital Management

This is a completely integrated solution that takes advantage of sharing employee information and thereby eliminates the duplication of employee records across many applications, which is the primary cause of incorrect information in many organisations.  Human Capital Management modules include Human Resources, Payroll, Training Administration, Clinic Administration and Pension Administration.

 

Inventory and Maintenance

The Inventory and Maintenance modules, comprising Materials Management, Fleet Management and Vehicle Cost Management provides full accounting and management control for all inventory, agricultural and industrial vehicles on the sugar estate.  These modules are completely integrated with Tranquillity Financials.  InfoWave also offers a planned maintenance module called OptiRUN which is integrated with the Materials Management module.

 

Laboratory, Weighbridge and Cane Payments

InfoWave’s innovative Laboratory, Weighbridge and Cane Payments modules provide improved quality, accuracy and control of the factory process operations through the introduction of advanced automation in the factory laboratory and weighbridge processes.  A key value offered is the audited calculation of grower payments using a variety of payment methods in practice throughout Africa.
